Heritage Heights Village is a community revitalization program that works with government agencies, local businesses, and fellow community based organizations to bring needed improvements to the cityscape of our community. Among HHV's initiatives are the Main Street Project, which aims to improve the buildings and streetscape of the area located on Amsterdam Avenue from 135th to 155th Street, and on 145th Street from St. Nicholas Avenue to Broadway. Heritage Health and Housing (through the Heritage Heights Village project) is also one of six agencies city wide to be awarded a grant under the New York City Clean Streets Program, which aims to provide a comprehensive sanitation and maintenance program in selected commercial corridors throughout New York City. Heritage Heights Village As Heritage Heights Village is a community program that is not geared to individuals, there is, of course, no admission criteria. However, Heritage Heights Village is always interested in working with partners in the community, whether they be other non-profit organizations, government agencies, educational organizations, community groups, or individuals. Please feel free to contact us if you or your organization have an interest in bettering the physical landscape of Upper Manhattan.
