FTCA Statement

Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) Deemed - The Heritage HealthCare Center is deemed by the Health Resources and Services Administration (“HRSA”) as employees of the Public Health Service (“PHS”) for purposes of the FTCA medical malpractice coverage under the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Acts (“FSHCAA”) of 1992 (Pub. L. 102-502) and 1995 (Pub. L. 104-73).  This means that Heritage HealthCare Center is insured by the federal government for actions within its Federally Qualified Health Center (“FQHC”) scope.
