Heritage HealthCare Center offers high quality podiatry services. Podiatry care services include preventive maintenance foot care related to underlying systemic conditions—this includes complete diabetic foot care, arthritic foot care, foot surgery, and treatment for sports injuries.
Dr. Rauchwerger is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine and has extensive training in podiatry medicine, she can treat the entire spectrum of podiatry care from routine foot care to advanced podiatric surgery.
Having attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, she has been treating people from our community at Heritage Health Center for twelve (12) years.

REESHEMAN G. COWART, D.P. M.
Reesheman G. Cowart, DPM is a Podiatry Specialist at Heritage Healthcare Center. A native of Rochester, New York, and a graduate of Fisk University with a dual major in Biology and Spanish. She attended Harvard Post-Baccalaureate Program and graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she received her degree, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. She trained at various Health and Hospital corporation’s institutions such as Coney Island, Woodhull Hospital, and Gouverneur Hospital during her residency rotations. She completed a podiatric fellowship at Jacobi Hospital in Bronx, New York with a concentration in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
Reesheman was an Associate Director of Podiatry at Bellevue Hospital with fifteen (15) years of clinical and surgical experience. She managed the clinical operations of the residency program at Bellevue Hospital consisting of six residents rotating throughout various hospitals located within the five boroughs. She has co-authored a published article and collaborated with many medical and surgical disciplines including Anesthesia, Medicine, and Orthopedic departments. She is a member of the American Diabetic Association, enjoys mentoring youth entering medical fields and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated for over thirty (30) years.
